Margie Matthews, of Mead, Okla., passed from this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born on Tuesday, May 7, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to John and Susie (Golightly) Hobgood. 
She was a longtime resident of Mead. She enjoyed rum and coke, watching Steve Harvey on television, yard work, her cat and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Susie (Golightly) Hobgood and her five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her granddaughters, Sherri Bradshaw and husband Timmy of Owasso, Okla., Terrie Bradshaw and husband John of Mannford, Okla.; grandsons, Kevin Dean of Mead, Okla., Tommy Moore of Mead, Okla.; great-granddaughters, Belinda Taff and husband Michael of Mead, Okla., Kira Shannon of Mannford, Okla., Charlotte Moore of Mead, Okla., Tiffany Buffalo of Owasso, Okla.; great-grandsons, Joe Shannon of Eufaula, Okla., John Shannon of Eufaula, Okla., Timothy Bradshaw of Collinsville, Okla., Kevin Bradshaw of Claremore, Okla., Bradley Dean of Mead, Okla., Randall Washburn of Collinsville, Okla. and sisters, Janet Noble of Oklahoma City, Okla. and June Revis of Arkansas.
Cremation services have been selected.
