Magnolia Festival 2020 canceled

Durant Area Chamber of Commerce

DURANT – Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma and Durant Area Chamber of Commerce announce the 24th Annual Magnolia Festival (previously rescheduled to November 5-7, 2020) has been cancelled for 2020.

The Magnolia Festival Committee has been committed to observing the recommendations put forth by public health officials since the beginning of this unprecedented situation along with following guidelines from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, where the Festival is held. The most current information released by government and health care officials continue with the recommendations to consider postponing events and limiting attendance throughout the fall months. Therefore, the current environment makes it impossible for us to hold a safe and enjoyable event for our attendees, exhibitors and volunteers in November 2020. The committee has already begun making preparations for the next Magnolia Festival to be held June 3-5, 2021 in Durant.

We want to thank our exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, the Choctaw Nation and the City of Durant for their commitment and support during this challenging time. We will continue to collaborate with our partners and our sponsors to host an exciting Magnolia Festival event in 2021.

In the coming days we will be reaching out to all those who have registered for the event with further details. All the exhibitors whose applications have been accepted may choose to request a refund or transfer to our 2021 event.

We thank all of you for your support and patience through these changes and uncertain times. Our promise to you is to make our 2021 Magnolia Festival the biggest and best event yet.
