Louella has lived in Bryan County her whole life and graduated from Durant Schools. She married Terry Waitman Sr. on Nov. 22, 1974 and to this union was born two children. She worked for the Levi’s company as a seamstress for many years. She attended Victory Tabernacle Church and was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and the Choctaw Seniors. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandbabies.
Louella is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Travis and James Baker.
Louella is survived by her children, Tamara Couch and husband Lee and Terry Waitman Jr. and wife Angel; grandchildren: Riley, Rowdy, Racer, Ryker, Reggs, Sierra and husband Taylor, Alex and wife Jessie and Emily and husband Harley; great grandchildren: Zaydn and Evie; brothers, Melvin Womack and wife Marlana and Marvin Womack and wife Barbara; sister, Joella Hicks and numerous extended family and friends. 
A celebration of Louella’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Kemp Baptist Church. Pastor Roger Speers will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
