Local land surveyor appointed to Oklahoma State Board

David Page was recently appointed by Governor Mary Fallin and confirmed by the Senate to serve as a member of the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. This board is composed of elite individuals from the state in the engineer and land survey field. They work with legislatures on the rules and regulations in the practices of engineering and land surveying.

David Page is the President of Page Surveying & Associates based in Durant OK, a 33-year-old surveying firm that was founded by his father, David Page Sr. David Jr. joined his father in the family business immediately following his graduation from Oklahoma State University in 1993. His father had a love and a passion for surveying and instilled those professional qualities in his son. Today David Page Jr. takes the utmost pride in upholding the legacy of integrity and honesty that his father taught him from an early age.

Page Surveying specializes in large commercial boundary surveys, extensive topographic surveys for large commercial developments and major high-rise construction projects totaling over a billion dollars. Page continues to share his passion and love for surveying through mentoring young surveyors by providing apprenticeship opportunities as well as conducting educational workshops at local schools. Page has also donated his time and expertise to numerous community and school projects where surveying was needed.

David became a Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) in 2016, is a Certified Flood Plain Manager, and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors where he served as the District 5 director for 6 years, OSLS president from 2015-2016 and currently serves as the OSLS Vice-president. In 2004 Mr. Page was the recipient of the Society’s most prestigious award “The David Page Distinguished Service Award” named in honor of his father.   David is also a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the Oklahoma Flood Plain Managers Association and is currently a Certified Flood Plain Manager.

David and his wife Nicole have been married 20 years and have two daughters, Adrian and Reagan. The Page’s are active in supporting their community through volunteer work with the local Main Street Chapter and the Colton’s Run Foundation. The Pages enjoy attending their children’s school activities and running marathons.
