DURANT – Bond Laundry Co., a local dry cleaners, in Durant will transform into the Bond Toy Co. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 6 – 8 p.m.  for A Hometown Holiday Tour in the city. The drive-by Christmas displays will take the place of the annual Christmas parade, which was suspended due to the pandemic.

The Bond Toy Co., located at 321 N. Washington in Durant, will feature Santa’s Naughty and Nice list, as well as Santa’s elves, working hard to make and collect toys for Bryan County Toys for Tots.

This year marks the 22nd annual Toys for Tots campaign, organized by the Durant Lions Club. Lion Brian Bond is the Bryan County Toys for Tots Coordinator, and co-owner of Bond Laundry Co. with his wife, Tascha Bond.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off during the holiday tour thru December 18. Organizers encourage community members to shop for a boy or girl, age birth to 16 years, then drop toys off at any participating business in the community where a Toys for Tots box is located. Toy distribution will take place on Saturday, December 19 at the Bryan County Fairgrounds.

Bond Laundry Co. is only one of many local businesses participating in A Hometown Holiday Tour this evening.
