Linda Sue Hendrickson, 74, entered into rest on February 17, 2022. She was born to Albert and Betty Harris on June 12, 1947, in Dallas, Texas.
After high school, Linda worked her way through nursing school attending Murray State and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree and became a registered nurse. Linda was a member of The National Nurses Association.
On October 4, 1980, she married James Edward Hendrickson in Las Vegas, Nevada. Linda was Protestant. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as reading and doing crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Hendrickson; her parents, Albert and Betty Harris and her son, Raymond Allen Hill.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Shandrika Shubin of Durant, Okla.; grandchildren, Linsay Rae Shubin and husband Chris of Midwest City, Okla., and Avery James Shubin of Edmond, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Braden Cale Taylor and Harper Lyn Taylor both of Midwest City, Okla.; brothers, Robert Allen Harris and wife Kim of Dallas, Texas and John Allen Harris and wife Mary of Fort Smith, Ark.
A celebration of Linda’s life is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant.
