Lewis Henry Brandy, Jr., a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and resident of Bennington, Oklahoma passed from this life at his home on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the age of 72. He was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on Sept. 14, 1946 to Lewis Henry Brandy, Sr. and Donna (Jack) Brandy.

Lewis cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Brandy is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma of the home; sons: Ronald Brandy of Durant, Okla., Clint Brandy of Bennington, Okla., and Stacey Brandy of Durant, Okla.; grandchildren: Mykayla Brandy of Durant, Okla., Isaac Brandy of Durant, Okla., Kaleb (Bam) Brandy of Durant, Okla., and Feather Brandy of Glenpool, Okla.; sister, Geraldine Tipps of Garland, Texas; sister-in-law, Annie Rowe of Durant, Okla.; brothers-in-law, James Billy and wife Georgene and Jack Wilson of Garland, Texas.

Mr. Brandy was preceded in death by Lewis and Donna Brandy, Mary Jane Sockey, Helen Wilson, and Rebecca Sue Sant.

Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Okla. with Bro. Lester Tims officiating. His pallbearers will be Marvin Sockey, James Sockey, Jr., Angie Sockey, Eric Peters, Zackary Sant, and Siren Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Leland Sockey, James Wilson, and Jack Wilson.
