Levi Wesley Milam was born on Thursday, December 28, 2000 in Durant, Oklahoma to Blaine Andrew Milam and Jessica Ann Pugh. Levi departed this life on Sunday, December 21st, 2025 in Durant at the age of 24 years, 11 months and 24 days.
Levi was raised and attended schools in Bokchito and Bennington, graduating in 2019. He worked as a welder and was self-employed. Levi married Tristan McPherson on October 26, 2023 in Atoka, Oklahoma. Levi was very involved with the Volunteer Fire Department and took great pride in helping people. He enjoyed going fishing, having big bonfires, and playing pool. Levi’s joy was spending time with his son Ridge and all his family and friends.
Levi was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Milam and Wesley Pugh; grandmother, Donna Earles; aunt Latisha Burlson; and uncle Jason Piercy.
He is survived by his wife, Tristan Milam, and their son, Ridge of Bokchito; his dad, Blaine Milam and wife Terri of Bennington; his mom, Jessica Pugh and husband Stephen McDowell of Nashoba, Okla.; grandmothers, Hazel Milam of Bennington and Deborah Pugh of Coalgate, Okla.; grandfather, Kenneth Earles of Jacksonville, Texas; brother, Blaise Milam of Tushka, Okla.; sisters, Emily Milam and Ryan Cunningham of Foreman, Ark., and Destiny Pugh of McAlester, Okla.; aunts, Rachel Pugh and Janie Pugh both of Coalgate, Okla.; uncle, Bruce Milam of Bennington, Okla.; and many extended family members and good friends.
Funeral services to celebrate Levi’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Brown’s Funeral Home chapel in Durant with Bro. Ross Phillips officiating. Committal services will follow at Bokchito Cemetery with Corey Jordan, Casey Jordan, Joseph Jordan, Keyondra Williams, Ty Coker, Michael Musgrove, and Chris Gibson serving as pallbearers.
Levi’s family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant.
