Wayland Leon Eppler, 80, of Kingston, Okla. passed away on Feb. 16, 2020 at his home in Kingston. He was born on March 24, 1939 in Lebanon, Okla. to the late Omer Lee Eppler and Pearl Ellen Armstrong Eppler.
Leon was raised in Lebanon and graduated from the Madill High School in 1958. He married Della Faye Miracle on March 17, 1960 in Madill. Leon work for Marshall County, County Commissioners before going to work at WW Trailers for 24 years. He later owned and operated Kingston Car Care and retired in 1990. Leon was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and drinking coffee with his coffee shop buddies. Most of all he loved being with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Della Faye Eppler, of Kingston, Okla.; children: Randy Eppler and wife Tami, of McKinney, Texas, Kevin Eppler and wife Valerie, of Calera, Okla., Mark Eppler and wife Natalie, of Madill, Okla., Tanya Roach and Fiancé Jeff Graves, of Kingston, Okla.; 10 grandchildren: April Ferguson, Scott Eppler, Josh Eppler, Kasey Bankenship, Jayse Roach, Heath Roach, Faith Roach, Mason Haenchen, Landon Eppler and Tre’ Adams; 12 great-grandchildren; brother: Sambo Eppler and wife Barbara Lou, of Madill, Okla,; sisters: Nelcyne Moore, of Lone Grove, Okla., Geneva Taylor, of Bakersfield, Calif..
Leon was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Donald, Harold and Clinton and infant twin brothers; and sister, Danyce Vinson.
Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Okla. Roy Vinson will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Okla.
Services are under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
