KINGSTON – The Durant Lady Lions are once again at the top of the mountain in Class 5A girls golf.

Over a two-day period in the state tournament at Chickasaw Pointe, Durant posted scores of 317 and 315 for a final of 632. Durant finished 37 strokes better than Bishop Kelley, who came in second.
The Lady Lions competing were Mikaela Kiranja, Scarlet Sturch, Riley Samrow, Chloe Henderson and Ella Barbush.
Kiranja had the second-best score individually (146) with Sturch right behind her in third (147).
