The Lady Lions shut out both opponents on Wednesday in the Class 5A regional fast-pitch tournament at which they are the hosts. Durant defeated Edison, 16-0, in the opener and went on to win, 5-0, in the nightcap winners’ bracket game against Claremore.
Bellamy Knight paced Durant, going 4-for-7 on the day with an RBI.
Knight, along with Sawyer Strange and Addison Pratt, combined for a no-hitter in the blowout win over Edison.
Durant will face the winner of Claremore and Will Rogers on Thursday to try to earn a berth to state.
