Kylin Brown named OCA All State Cheerleader

The Oklahoma Coaches Association named it 2020-2021 All State Cheerleaders on Monday.

On that list was Durant senior Kylin Brown. There were 16 seniors from the West and 16 from the East regions of Oklahoma who were named to the teams.

Kylin is the only representative from the southeastern portion of the state to make the list. She has been named an Honor Graduate for the Durant High School Class of 2021 and plans to attend Southeastern in the fall and major in nursing.

She has earned a national championship in NCA, twice a world championship and has been nominated three times for NCA All American Cheerleader and been named NCA All American Cheerleader twice.

To be named to the OCA All State list, she was nominated by Durant cheer coach Lou Ann Lively. She was chosen first as an All Region Cheerleader and then one of 16 from the East to be named All State.

The 18-year-old senior is the daughter of Scott and Delaine Brown.

The All State Cheerleaders will cheer at the All State Boys and Girls Basketball games as well as the All State Football game. The 2021 All State Games will take place during July in the Tulsa metro-area.
