Kevin Mackey of Durant, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the age of 58. He was born on Friday, April 28, 1967 in Sherman, Texas to Geraldine Lavonne (Edwards) and Charles Everett Mackey.
Kevin was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma. He enjoyed bowling, watching western movies and watching the weather. He loved cars, specifically Mustangs, and boats. He had a great memory.
Survivors include his son, Hudson Mackey and wife Kayla of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Kayla Mackey of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Kingstin Mackey, Reyna Ditello-Scott, Ethereal Lawson; sister, Charla Kiser of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers, Ronald Mackey of Durant, Oklahoma, Rick Mackey of Durant, Oklahoma; uncle, Cary Kiser; niece, Celinda Garner; nephews, Jason Mackey, Aaron Mackey, Rusty Mackey, and Jeffery Mackey; numerous cousins, as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Gordon Center, located at 305 N. Second Ave. in Durant. Inurnment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. Third Ave. in Durant.
