Katherine Elizabeth Herrin, 79, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Terry Slaten, and husband Ronnie of Calera, Okla.; grandsons: Ron Duffell Jr., and wife Mindee of Shawnee, Okla., Micah Slaten of Calera, Okla., and Matthew Slaten of Calera, Okla.; great-grandson, Anderson Duffell of Shawnee, Okla.; son, William Guernsey of Denison, Texas; nephews: Talmage Coker Jr. of LA, Glen Coker of Denison, Texas; and nieces, Nancy Coker of Denison, Texas, Vanda Bentley of Burleson, Texas, and Sarah Bates of Denison, Texas.

Katherine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy Herrin of Denison, Texas; her parents, Eddie and Sarah Coker; sister, Jeraline Verrill; brothers, Talmage Coker, and William Coker; and nephew, Charles Coker.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Slaten, Ron Duffell Jr., Micah Slaten, Matthew Slaten, Anderson Duffell, and Tony Coker. Honorary pallbearer, William Guernsey.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Interment will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
