Kalliope Maeve Haislip entered this world on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Durant, Okla. to parents Trent Michael Haislip and Elizabeth Eden (Johnson) Haislip. Beautiful, precious Kalliope was received in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 21, 2024 after 8 months of age to her Heavenly home. 
She is survived by her parents, Trent and Elizabeth Haislip of Lone Grove, Okla.; a 5-year-old brother, Killian Hunter Johnson of Lone Grove; grandparents, Bubba and Jennifer Johnson of Durant, Robbie and Olesya Haislip of Durant, and Derick and Winter Postoak of Lone Grove; great-grandparents, Vivian Haislip of Bennington, Okla., Nancy and Emman Spain of Konawa, Okla., Della Gibson of Calera, Okla., and Matthew and Sandra Miller of Emory, Texas; uncles and aunts, Tyler Haislip of Durant, Sigus Johnson, Jr. of Durant, Macie Peterson and Wade Whisenhunt of Durant, Emily and Nole Peterson of Emory, TX, and Myah Postoak and Dasan Postoak of Lone Grove, Okla.; and numerous other cousins and extended grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Brown’s Funeral Home chapel in Durant with Pastor Matthew Miller as the officiant and Moses Johnson will have the obituary reading. Interment services will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Sigus Johnson Jr., Nole Peterson, Tyler Haislip, and Logan Singleton serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 25th, at Brown’s Funeral Home.
