Kaleb Michael Foster, a beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend, was taken from this life too soon on May 25, 2020 at the age of 17. He was the cherished child of Krystal (Foster) Martin born on July 22, 2002 in Ada, Okla.
Kaleb was an exceptional young man who was looking forward to his senior year at the Durant High School. He was a proud and active team member of the high school cross country and track team. Kaleb had just completed his lifeguard certification to be a lifeguard at the Durant City Pool for the summer.
His Christian faith was extremely important to him, he was a member of the Utica Baptist Church and Fusion. Kaleb’s outgoing personality and easy smile drew people to him. Kaleb is survived by his mother, Krystal Martin and husband Ronnie Martin of Durant, Okla.; sister, Kaylee Paige Thomas of Durant, Okla.; grandparents, Winford (Randee) and Frankie Foster of Durant, Okla.; siblings, Courtney Humphrey of Yukon, Okla., Jordan Nelson of Utica, Okla., Carson Nelson of Utica, Okla.; nephew, Colton Humphrey of Yukon, Okla.; aunt, Kristin Patton and her sons, Auston, Spencer and Taylor all of Denison, Texas; and he is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
Family hour will be from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday May 31, 2020 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant. A celebration of Kaleb’s life will be held at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant, Okla. at 2 p.m. on Monday June 1, 2020 with Bro. Roger Speers as the officiant. Kaleb’s final resting place will be the Kemp Cemetery in Kemp, Oklahoma with Alfonzo Barraza, Camdon Cooper, Carson Nelson, Carter Wombie, Chayton Ned, Colton Humphrey, Cutter Whitfield, DeSaun Weaver, Dillon Bauchman, Nathan Allred, Timothy Aliazas, and Tyler Wilson as his pallbearers and members of the cross-country/track team will be his honorary pallbearers.
