Surrounded by family, Judy Ann Johnson, 61, of Durant, fell into Jesus’ loving arms on April 15, 2021, following her battle with renal disease. Born on February 16, 1960, to Leonard and Tommie Jean Johnson, Judy was the youngest of four children and a caring individual who touched the lives of all she knew.
Judy attended Durant Public Schools, where she met the love of her life, Greg Johnson, in 1973. They married in 1977 and raised their two children, Michael and Alisha. Judy was a loving and dedicated mother. She especially loved her role as Nana to her six grandchildren. She was the best listener, and her candid advice-giving will be greatly missed.
Judy was a dedicated employee of the Choctaw Nation for more than 30 years, where she made several life-long friends. She loved her job and worked until her ailments would no longer allow her to do so.
Judy enjoyed camping trips, traveling, and spending time with family. She was a member of Victory Life Church and loved serving her Lord, Jesus Christ, with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her infant son; parents, Leonard and Tommie Jean Johnson; brother, Bruce Johnson and niece, Cindy Johnson Martin.
Judy is survived by her husband, Greg Johnson; son, Michael Johnson and wife, Kati; daughter, Alisha Speck and husband Steven; brothers, Tom Johnson and wife Peggy, Mike Johnson and wife Terrie; grandchildren: Hailey Wright, Trenton Johnson, Samara Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Jacob Johnson, and Sophia Speck; and countless friends.
