Jordan Cottingame, aka “Dirty J” and “Jordy”, of Bennington, Okla., was born in Sherman, Texas on Monday, Feb. 27, 1995 to Janna and Jeffrey Cottingame. Jordan passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 at the age of 26. 
Jordan was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle and cousin. He enjoyed hunting, the beach and going on cruises with his family. Jordan loved telling stories and never met a stranger. He was loved by so many. He attended Victory Life Academy and graduated in 2013. He loved spending time with his dog Rocco and his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Cottingame; grandparents, June and Gary Cottingame and Janet Scribner.
He is survived by his mother, Janna Cottingame; brothers, Justus Cottingame and wife Makenzie, Jonas Cottingame, Jaden Cottingame, all of Bennington Okla., James and Summer Witter of Mead, Okla.; sister, Jacee Cottingame of Bennington, Okla.; grandparents, Junior Scribner and wife Martha of Bennington Okla.; nephews, Ryder and Braxton Cottingame; great-grandparents; cousins; aunts and uncles. 
A memorial gathering and celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 at Grandpappy Point Marina in Denison, Texas.
