Johnny D’Wayne Rogers

Johnny D’Wayne Rogers “Wayne” son of William H. and Glenda Rogers was born on April 13, 1967 in Clarksvile, TN. At the end of Wayne’s fathers service to our country the family relocated to Kingston, Okla. in 1982.

As an adult, Wayne continued to keep his roots in Oklahoma, making Durant his hometown until his passing where he was reunited with his mother Glenda, and Our Lord on Dec. 23, 2019, with his love, his wife Carma by his side.

Upon his passing Wayne leaves behind his wife, Carma Rogers of Durant, Okla.; father, Bill Rogers and wife Patti of Antlers, Okla.; daughter, Krystel Rogers of Mead, Okla.; son, Eric Rogers and wife Raven of Durant, Okla.; two step-children: Rachel Rudd and Kevin Freeman; three grandsons: Brentlee, Braxton, and Benjamin; granddaughters: Haley Hoff, Hayden Henley, and Kelcey Gordon; great-grandson, Rhett; two brothers: Ronnie Rogers of Calera, Okla., and John Cross of Smyrna, Tenn., two sisters: Mary Choat, and Beth (BB) Rogers of Calera, Okla., also step-brother, Nick Kinholt and step-sister Jami Keys.

Friends and family alike knew how much Wayne enjoyed the outdoors and creating things with his hands. Wayne loved making his own art, blacksmithing homemade knives, working on cars or his motorcycle (which he loved to ride), or spending the day landscaping his yard.

As our hearts are deeply saddened by our loss, we are all comforted in knowing he is no longer in pain and is made whole again.

The family will have a private service at a later date. Services are under the direction of Browns Funeral Service, Durant. Online condolences can be made at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
