Johnny Lee Mooney, of Calera, Okla., passed from this life on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the age of 74. He was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1948 to William Forrest and Jennie Ellen (Blankenship) Mooney.
He married Peggy Alice (Daniels) Mooney on July 1, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Collett and the USS Isabel during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed hunting, sports and watching his grandchildren play ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Forrest and Jennie Ellen (Blankenship) Mooney; brother, Bill Mooney and sister, Naomi Fox.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Alice (Daniels) Mooney of Calera, Okla.; daughter, Teresa Jo Pustejovsky and Thomas Wayne of Midlothian, Texas; grandsons, Hunter Lee Pustejovsky, Colby Thomas; brothers, Marvin Mooney of Broken Arrow, Okla., Danny Mooney of Grove, Okla.; sisters Linda Tiller of Sevierville, Tenn., Virginia Cannon of Lindsay, Okla.
A cremation service has been selected.
