Johnnie Leo Grady was born Thursday, June 29, 1939 in McKinney, Texas to Roger Patrick Grady and Audray Fay (Clinton) Grady. He passed from this life on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in Durant, Okla., at the age of 83. 
“Boppa”, as he was called by his loving grandchildren, married his sweetheart, Lanora Geneva Holder, on October 5, 1970. They came to Durant in 1991. “Boppa” worked as a Laborer in construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with his family.
“Boppa” was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lanora; a son, Billy; two grandsons; two sisters; and two brothers.
He is survived by his son, Johnny Grady and his wife, Janice, of Durant, Okla.; daughter, Anna Grady of Davis, Okla.; son, Keith Grady of Ardmore, Okla.; daughter, Rene Lemons and her husband, Wayne, of Durant, Okla.; and daughter, Edna Grady and her husband, John Dickson, of Cartwright, Okla.; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Collins of Tennessee and Edna Ruth Daniels of Tennessee; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and good friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Home. 
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Luke Gage officiating.
