Jerry Paul Williams, 60, of Madill, Okla., passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Alliance Hospital in Durant, Okla. He was born on April 18, 1962, in San Diego, Calif., to the late Jerry Martin Williams and Nancy Diane Comstock Williams.
Jerry was raised in Yucaipa, Calif., where he graduated high school and after graduation he worked as a volunteer-fireman with Calimesa Fire Department. He later attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho where he received his bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine. Jerry worked as a Paramedic in multiple areas throughout his life including Marshall County EMS for 7 years. He was also an over the road team truck driver with his dad. Jerry married Deena Diane Kirkpatick on July 5, 2008, in Durant.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, and he enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Jerry loved to read books, travel and take cruises. He also liked trying new recipes to cook in his instant pot and air fryer.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Deena Diane Williams of Madill, Okla.; children, Ashleigh Michelle Rich and husband Cody of Durant, Okla., Crystal Green of Durant, Okla.; sister, Jennifer Jipp and husband Doug of Olathe, Kan.; niece, “Best Buddy” Sidney Jipp of Olathe, Kan.; brother, John Williams and wife of Lowry, Utah and various other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Paul and Lola Comstock.
A funeral service in his honor is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, 2022, at the Church of the Latter Day Saints in Durant, Okla.
