Jerry Hagood, of Hendrix, Okla., passed from this life on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on Friday, Sept. 10, 1943 in Denison, Texas to Eugene Raymond and Dollie Mae (Newton) Hagood.
Jerry had lived in the Hendrix community since 1991. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening. He had served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Raymond and Dollie Mae (Newton) Hagood; sister, Hazel Hagood and a brother, Clyde Hagood.
He is survived by his daughters, Tina Hagood of Pottsboro, Texas, Dawn Thornton Lauridsen of Wills Point, Texas, Stephanie Gill of Pottsboro, Texas; brother, Larry Hagood of Hendrix, Okla.; sisters, Peggy Hagood Kennedy of Denison, Texas, Marquerite Hagood Lynch of Denison, Texas; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 at the Yarnaby Cemetery in Yarnaby, Okla.
