WEATHERFORD – Abby Jameson wrote her name in the Southeastern volleyball record book and in the process led the Savage Storm to a key 3-1 road victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday night in Weatherford, Okla.
The win is the third-straight for the team and lifts SE to 9-17 overall on the season and 5-7 in Great American Conference play.
With her first kill of the match Jameson hit the 1,000 kill plateau, becoming just the fourth Southeastern player to reach the milestone in the history of the program.
She would go on to finish with 16 kills to lead all attackers, while Arianna Baker was right behind with 14 and Erika Costain finished with nine.
Alissa Benson dished out 45 assists in the match and chipped in two kills on offense while adding a block and 14 digs on defense.

The storm returned the favor with a 25-16 romp in the third set and closed out the match by staring down set point in the fourth set and scoring the final three points to take the final set 26-24 for a 3-1 win.
