James Steven Clark

James Steven “Steve” Clark, 60 of Frisco, Texas passed away on July 17, 2019 in Cartwright, Okla. He was born on April 9, 1959 in McKinney, Texas to James Houston and Viola Murlene (Vest) Clark.

Steve attended Frisco High School and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Frisco, Texas. He moved to Calera, Okla. in 1999 from Frisco. Steve loved to fish, hunt, and ride his Harley. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Steve was a painter for many years.

Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents; Bud and Bessie Vest and Andrew and Edna Clark.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Mandy Clagg of Tuttle, Okla.; three grandsons Denver and Dustin Clagg, and Logan “Froggy” Smithhart all of Tuttle, Okla.; parents, James and Murlene Clark of Calera, Okla.; sister, Kim Cross of Frisco, Texas; niece, Tiffany Braddock and husband Matt of Collinsville, Texas; nephew, Joey Cross and wife Shelby of Troy, Texas; nephew, Barry Cross of Collinsville, Texas; great nieces: Colbie Braddock, Tatum Cross, and Collins Cross; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Abundant Life Texoma. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Okla. with Ken Bangs and Rick Thomas officiating.

Family Hour will be Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, Okla. Pallbearers will be Tim Moore, David Alexander, Tippy Aaron, Ricky Aaron, Malcolm Reed, Dustin Clagg, Denver Clagg, and Larry Smith. Condolences can be sent to www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
