James “Jim” Walters, of the Texoma area, passed from this life on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the age of 57. He was born on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1961 in Richmond, Virginia to Kenneth Wayne and Bea Itrice (Clevenger) Walters.
Jim moved to Durant in 2000 at the age of 39. He enjoyed chess, tennis, and cooking.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Bea Walters.
Survivors include his brothers: Robert Walters, and wife Cindy of Ft. Myers, Fla., Joe Walters of Durant, Okla., Kenneth Walters and wife Dianne of Wylie, Tommy Walters and wife Rachal of Wylie, Texas, sister Marcella Ann Kennemer and husband Houston of Mt. Vernon, Mo. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on May 19, 2019 in Wylie, Texas at Kenneth’s home.
