James Edward Freeman, 76, of Hendrix, Okla., passed away peacefully, on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. James was born on January 15, 1946 in Birmingham, Ala., to Elmer E. Freeman and Mollie (Woods) Freeman.
He was a high school graduate and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in construction as a painter and also as a paralegal. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and growing his own vegetables.
Left to cherish his memories are his sisters, Patricia Parker of Yarnaby, Okla., Mollie Cain and Jimmy of Dothan, Ala., Judy Smith and Terry of Birmingham, Ala. and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mollie Freeman.
