Jestis Insurance Agency may be moving a few blocks down the road, but with its relocation, the business has even more securely established itself in Durant.

The AFR insurance agency owned by Landon Jestis is moving east on Evergreen Street, from its former location at 1201 W. Evergreen on the south side of the street to its new home at 912 W. Evergreen on the north side of the street.
“I was renting at the previous location,” Jestis said. And as a local business owner, I wanted to be able to own my own office building, because we have no intentions of going anywhere.
“We love the community of Durant. We love being here in the town. And I think by actually purchasing a building, it gives the community and our current customers the security of knowing we’re not going anywhere.”
Jestis said it was a great opportunity and a blessing that was presented to him to be able to purchase the 3,200 square-foot building, which also houses Southern Workforce Board, Inc.
“It was not only a good opportunity to move locations, but it was an investment opportunity as well.”
