Ina Robison

Ina “Memah” Robison, a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, joined her beloved Savior on March 7, 2022, at the age of 95. She was the daughter of E. B. St. John and Mary Etta (Kuykendall) St. John born on February 12, 1927. Ina married Colbert “Cobb” Edd Robison in Durant, Okla. on June 21, 1945.

Ina was employed by the GTE phone company for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of Fox Avenue Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas for many years. Ina looked forward to attending church and taking her grandchildren with her. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and could often be found either reading a book or working a puzzle.

Mrs. Robison is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Tanya Hall and husband Jeremy of Sherman, Texas, Nicole Sprabary of Durant, Okla., Andy Robison and wife Valarie of Bennington, Okla., Ginger Robison of Bennington, Okla., and Mike Robison of Bennington, Okla.; 16 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Robison was preceded in death by her parents, E. B. and Mary Etta St. John, husband, Cobb Robison, children, Larry, Gary, and Brenda, and her 16 siblings. Ina was the last surviving child of the St. John family.

Family hour will be from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.

A funeral in honor of her life will be at 10 a.m. on March 14, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Bennington, Okla., with Rev. Ryan Perry officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Bennington Cemetery. Family and friends who have asked want they can do to help can provide food for lunch after the service. Dishes can be brought to the church meeting room for lunch that will be served after the service.
