Willy and Julie Henderson, of Durant, celebrate 20 years of marriage on June 13, 2018.

They met in Colorado in the spring of 1994. Willy was living in Colorado after high school working for the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area as a ski instructor. Julie was in high school, a year ahead of Josh (Willy’s brother), and in choir.
Carolyn Wilkins, the DHS choir teacher, led the show choir/choir on a performing ski trip to Colorado. Because Willy was not too far from where they were going to be, he made the trip over to see his little brother. That is where he met Julie.
They dated for four years and were married in 1998. They have three children: Chloe, 12, Lilly, 7, and Elliot, 4.
Willy is the owner of Durant Motorsports and Julie is a dance instructor and adviser for Axis Dance Studio. They are both very active in Victory Life Church.
