Helen Loraine Scribner, age 67 passed away June 6, 2019 in Elgin, Okla. She was born on April 1, 1952 in Chickasha, Okla. to Jack and Delia Mink.
She spent her working years taking care of her family and always making sure their needs were met before her own. Helen loved watching her grandchildren play basketball and softball. Some of her favorite things to do was to sit on the couch and watch NBA Basketball on the TV with her husband, especially the OKC Thunder.
Helen loved to cook and was exceptionally good at it; she always had a table full of people if they knew she was cooking. She always had the best time going to the casino with her sisters and playing the slot machines. Family was the most important thing in her life and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Delia Mink; brothers, Clifford and Don Ray Mink; sister, Brenda Stephens.
Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her husband, Buddy Scribner; son, Mark Scribner; daughter, Lori Harris; siblings, Sandra Cogburn, Hearl and Ina Mink, Jack and Kay Mink, Sue Seely, Jane and Lawrence Smiley; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who will deeply miss her.
