Grace Elaine Harp passed from this life on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, in Denison, Texas at the age of 83. She was born on May 26, 1938, in Albany, Okla. to Otis and Grace (Dunegan) Perkins. She married Richard E. Harp in Durant, Okla. in 1954.
Grace was a homemaker, a machinist, and even a peanut farmer with her husband. She enjoyed collecting old movies and collected all kinds of stuff. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.
Grace leaves behind her three sons: Richard Harp of Durant, Okla., Ronnie Harp and Sherry Price of Calera, Okla., and Donnie Harp and wife Belinda of Melissa, Texas. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Grace Perkins; son, Brian Harp; brothers: Bill, Larry, Bob, and Joe Perkins and one sister, Loretta Perkins.
Family hour will be on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.
A chapel service will be held on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Jim Parrish officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Okla. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Harp, Justin Harp, Richard Sloan Jr, Logan Harp, Jonathan Harp, and Robert Perkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Harp, Chris Harp, Jeff Harp, and Mason Harp.
