Goldie Ruth Tyler, a precious soul, left this earthly life and joined her Lord and Savior in Calera, Okla. on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 25 days. She was born in Ivanhoe, Texas to Atlas Minchey and Minnie Minchey on June 1, 1939.
Goldie was a gifted seamstress. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Goldie enjoyed the thrill of a horse race, shopping for bargains and she especially enjoyed her precious dogs.
Mrs. Tyler is survived by her cherished sons, Randy Tyler and wife Nancy of Dallas, Texas and Danny Tyler and wife Toma of Durant, Okla.; aunt, Mary Kelly of Bonham, Texas; nephews, Michael Kelly and wife Denise of Bonham, Texas along with nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
Mrs. Tyler was preceded in death by her parents, Atlas and Minnie Minchey, and her husband, Bennie Tyler.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Highland Cemetery Chapel with Tommy Rowland officiating.
Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.
