George Moffatt, a veteran of the United States Air Force, and resident of Bennington, Okla., left this life on Jan. 4, 2021 at the age of 71. His brother Alfred Moffatt also passed away on Dec, 14, 2020.
George was born in Bennington, Okla. to George Moffatt and Evelyn (West) Moffatt on June 24, 1949. George proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He worked for CompSource for the State of Oklahoma. George was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. He also worked for Lowes in Durant for a while.
Mr. Moffatt is survived by his sons, David Lawson and wife Teresa of Tulsa, Okla., and Christopher Lawson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandchildren, Luke Westley Lawson and Liam Jeffrey Lawson; and one sister, Geraldine Moffatt of Bennington, Okla.
Mr. Moffatt was preceded in death by his parents, George and Evelyn Moffatt; brother, Alfred Moffatt; and sister-in-law, Ann Moffatt.
