Gena Foreman of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Friday, April 26, 2024 in Durant, Okla., at the age of 59. She was born on Sunday, May 24, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to James Donald and Ella Faye (Pettigrew) Hampton.
She was a resident of Durant, Okla., for seven and a half years, previously residing in Kentucky for 15 years. She worked as a CNA and found her job very rewarding. She was of the Christian faith and loved God.
She enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren, and eating suckers. She also loved her pets and had dogs and ferrets.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Broome; mother, Ella Faye (Pettigrew) Hampton; biological father, Don Webster; grandparents, Willie and Gertrude Eaton.
Survivors include her sons, Billy Broome and wife Jennifer of Washington State, Gregory Wallin of Tulsa, Okla., Remington Foreman of Durant, Okla.; daughters, Ciera Campbell and husband David of Coalgate, Okla., Chanteal Foreman of Durant, Okla., Cammyale Foreman and husband Cody of Durant, Okla.; father, James Hampton of Ozark, Mo.; brothers, Tim Hampton of Colbert, Okla., Scott Hampton of Colbert, Okla.; sisters, Stacey Still and husband Juddie of Durant, Okla., Crystal Hampton of Calera, Okla.; grandchildren: Zoey, Zander, Alley, Chelsey, Krislynn, Lillie-Grace, Kaylynn, Edward, Aubree, Rylee, Lainee as well as nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
