Gary Eugene Lorance, of Madill, Okla., passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at the age of 67. He was born on Friday, April 3, 1953 in Ardmore, Okla. to Hodge and Ruby Lee (Wallace) Lorance.
Gary graduated from Blue High School in 1971 and earned two Associates Degrees from Grayson County College. He was a strong Christian and a member of the Blue Baptist Church for 40 years and had recently moved to Madill and began attending Emanuel Baptist Church.
He worked as a machinist for most of his life at several companies including MEMC and TI. He served in the National Guard for six years. He also ran a successful lawn care business before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, coin collecting, and he was an avid football fan. He also loved cars and most of all being with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hodge and Ruby Lee (Wallace) Lorance.
He is survived by his sons, Donald Lucas Lorance of Oklahoma City, Okla., Tyler Lee Lorance of Guthrie, Okla.; brothers, Larry Lorance and wife Geraldine of Durant, Okla., Randy Lorance and wife Linda of Tulsa, Okla.; mother of the children, Kim Lorance of Edmond, Okla. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
