Franklin Wayne Lilley, 65, of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away on February 18, 2026, in Denison, Texas. Franklin was born on July 1, 1960, in Ft. Riley, Kansas to the late William (Peewee) and Toshi (Kaimori) Lilley.
Franklin attended and graduated from Durant Public Schools and later married Barbara Lee Gamble on December 15, 1979, in Sherman, Texas. They built their life together and were blessed with two children, Jason and Misty. He spent many years working in the oil fields and then returned home and was route salesman for Flowers Bakery. Franklin was a Christian and he enjoyed fishing, farming, watching all sports on tv, but his greatest time spent was spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play sports.
Franklin is preceded in death by his parents William (Peewee) Lilley and Toshi Lilley; step mother Margie Lilley; brothers Charles Allen Lilley, Barney Potts, and Bill Hart; sisters Brenda Hampton and Charlene England.
Franklin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Lilley of the home; son, Jason Lilley and wife Patricia of Durant; daughter, Misty Bearden and husband Charlie of Caddo; grandchildren: Peyton Bearden, Parker Bearden, Marvin Littrell and wife Sydney, and Blake Bearden; brother Bobby Lilley; sisters Cathy Stanfield and husband Stewart and Nancy Eversole and husband Rick and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Boyd Newton will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
