CASPER, Wyo. – Southeastern’s trio of Blake Carter, Gauge McBride, and Emma Ricke closed out their short-go appearances at the College National Finals on Saturday night in Casper, Wyo.
McBride closed out his trip to the CNFR with a ride of 79 in the bareback riding, splitting ninth in the short-go and moving to 10th overall in the average.
Carter faced some misfortune in the short-go, taking a no time in the final round and finishing 11th in the average.
Ricke started her short-go appearances with an eighth-place finish in the breakaway, with a 12.0 in the finals, moving her to eighth in the average.
Ricke tipped a barrel in her final run in the barrel racing, finishing the short go with a 19.47 which was good for 11th in the round and moved her to 11th in the average.
Ricke finished the week with 70.0 points in the All-Around, coming in second behind Wyoming’s Josie Mousel.
