Martha “Elaine” Mullins of Calera, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on Wednesday, January 16, 1946 in Borger, Texas, along with her twin brother Mark Blankenship, to Alvis Veatrice (Wylie) and John “Shorty” Lewis Blankenship.
Elaine was raised in a loving family with five siblings. She came to Oklahoma in 1960, when she was in high school. She married Bobby Mullins on May 5, 1973 in Durant, Oklahoma and was married for 51 loving years before Bobby’s passing on December 10, 2024. When she was younger, she worked at the old toy factory in Durant, Oklahoma. During a short time, she worked in home health during the 1990’s. Elaine was of strong Christian faith and attended church at New Life Assembly of God in Calera, Oklahoma. Anyone who knew her was blessed through her love of the Lord and her willingness to do as God would do unto others.
She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and spending time with her family. Her pride and joy were her three granddaughters, as well as her 2 great-grandchildren. She cherished her neighbors and friends and considered them family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis Veatrice (Wylie) and John “Shorty” Lewis Blankenship; beloved husband, Bobby Mullins; brothers and their spouses Junior and wife Beatrice, Bobby and wife Erma, Jimmy and wife Joyce; sister, Coryene Leewright and her husband Paul Leewright; and sister-in-law ,Linda Blankenship (wife of Mark who is the only surviving sibling) several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Survivors include her twin brother Mark Blankenship of Calera, Oklahoma; daughter, Kimberly (Mullins) Heil of Calera, Oklahoma; son, Joey Mullins of Calera, Oklahoma; granddaughters: Abby Mullins of Ada, Oklahoma, Emalee Mullins of Ada, Oklahoma, Jayci Heil of Calera, Oklahoma; great grandchildren: La’Yara Bartholomew of Ada, Oklahoma, Da’Myrion McDowell of Ada, Oklahoma, special nieces Sherri Reimer, and Abby Dawn Dennis, both of Borger, Texas, special nephews Paul Wayne, Mike, Brad, Johnny, Marlin and Shawn Blankenship and Kelly Leewright. Along with many more extended family and friends, including Linda Lemmones her life-long, best friend.
Due to her granddaughter Emalee setting off into her military career a month ago, the family has decided to wait until Emalee can be in attendance to have a Celebration of Life service for all friends and family to attend.
The family will be at the Calera residence if anyone would like to visit; however, a public service will be announced when the family can all be in attendance.
