Edna Daniels

Edna Faith Daniels was born August 30, 1933 in Calera, Okla. to Archie and Annie (Baker) Downs. She attended Grade School at Calera and Old Allison, Okla. and was a 1950 graduate of Achille High School where she was awarded membership in the Oklahoma Honor Society for four consecutive years.

She was a member of the Dallas Vienna Buckner Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a long-time employee of the L.T.V. Corporation in Dallas, Texas and upon returning to Oklahoma was employed at Emerson Electric U.S. Electrical Motors in Durant for 11 years. She married Bobby Daniels on Oct. 23, 1952 in Durant, Okla.

Preceding her death were her parents, husband and siblings: Alma Ward, Juanita Mash, and Ruel Edward Downs of Fort Worth, Texas. Survivors include her two sons Bobby Lee Daniels Jr. (Laura) of Sherman, Texas and Ronald David Daniels (Kimberlee) of Hamilton, Colo., nieces and nephews, four grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ceremony information can be obtained through Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home of Durant, Okla.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Rev. John Breon officiating.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant.
