DURANT – The public is invited to a free presentation on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center and Library.
Hosted by Sustainable Durant, this installment in a series features Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, renowned climate scientist, author and professor at Texas Tech University.
A community discussion will follow with local advocates: Elizabeth Callicoat, Durant Green School; Dr. Ian Thompson, Choctaw Nation and Dr. Doug Wood, Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
The event is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Theater Room at DWR.
