The Durant Sustainability Coalition (formerly Sustainable Durant) is ready for 2024 with events planned to help those in Bryan County and beyond learn about and make beneficial changes for the upcoming year.
• Feb. 15, 5: 30 p.m. | Electrifying Your Roof and Home
Learn about the benefits of solar panels, heat pumps and electrifying your home.
• Mar. 14, 5:30 p.m. | Sustainable Gardening
Gain information about the natural power of the earth in your garden, mo matter what size.
• Apr. 20 | Clean and Green / Earth Day Festival
There will be a city-wide Clean and Green event at Carl Albert Park on that Saturday morning.
In the afternoon, there will be exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, contests and food and drink in the park for an Earth Day Festival with something for every member of the family.
