DURANT – The City of Durant is excited to announce the upcoming Durant Sports Festival, organized by Durant Parks and Recreation and Events International. The month-long festival, sponsored by Discover Durant, will be held in June and feature 16 sports at locations throughout the city. Athletes of all ages are invited to put their skills to the test in one of the many tournaments, camps and clinics planned.
Highly anticipated events include a cornhole tournament, disc golf, stickball and rugby. Baseball, softball, and football tournaments are planned, and camps and clinics will be offered for tennis, soccer, scuba diving, ninja skills and gymnastics.
A full listing of sports, events and contact information is available at www.durant.org/784/Durant-Sports-Festival, as well as a list of local hotels offering special event rates. Those interested in participating should register with event hosts by Friday, May 24.
