The Durant ISD announced via text and its Facebook page on Wednesday that school will be closed Thursday, Friday and Monday of next week.
This scheduling is in anticipation of inclement weather and also involving a day of out school already on the schedule.
Here is the complete text:
“All Durant campuses will be closed Thursday and Friday, Feb. 3 and 4, 2022. Monday, Feb. 7, is a scheduled day off on the school calendar and we will be closed that day also.
“All students and staff will return on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
“Due to the possibility of ice accumulations and potential for power outages, distance learning WILL NOT be required on these days.”
