The Durant Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for 3 Amigos Tax Service to recognition its entrance into the local organization.

The business, which does taxes and more, is located at 200 W. Beech St., Suite 202 in Durant.
Fior Newman, one of the owners of the business, said it can be of assistance to those in the area who may not speak English.
“We didn’t see anybody else providing services like documentation preparation and ITIN, and this is how we came together wanting to help the community,” Newman said. “So we provide service for everyone, but we specialize in Spanish, because sometimes people have to go to Dallas or Houston to be able to get some of the service that we offer.”
