DURANT – Summer almost officially here and the Draggin’ Main Car Show & Cruise in Durant is back to its regular spot on the calendar.
The event, which is growing with each year, is scheduled for Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19, 2021, will feature a car show with around 300 entries.
Activities get underway on Friday night with live music, games and more at City Hall (300 W. Evergreen).
On Saturday, the Car Show will give those who come an opportunity to walk all around Downtown Durant and check out vintage cars from various decades on display from 11 a.m. til 2 p.m. A burnout contest will also be held at noon behind the Durant Fire Department.
Awards and trophies are scheduled to be given out at 3 p.m. at City Hall and the event concludes with a Cruise of Downtown Durant from 4-5 p.m. Tailgate parties will be hosted along the route.
The Car Show & Cruise is free to attend and is presented by the Blast From The Past Car Club and Durant Main Street.
