Douglas Leo Kellam, 69, was born October 6, 1954, in Durant, Okla., to T.L. and Jean Kellam. He passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2024.
Douglas graduated Caddo High School. On February 14, 1997, he married Shelly (Marrs) Kellam in Sherman, Texas. Doug enjoyed playing darts and bowling. He never met a stranger or a stray. He had a special place in his heart and his lap for his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, T.L. and Bertie Jean (Sims) Kellam; brother, Mike; sister, Sherry Norris and his sister-in-law Bonnie.
He leaves behind his wife, Shelly Kellam of the home; two sons, Shane Kellam and partner Shelly Ball of Arizona, and Matthew Kellam and wife Tiffany and daughter Lyla of Missouri; two stepchildren, Devin Werner and daughter Braylee, and Richard Foskahl and wife Amanda and daughters Jentry and Kady of Kansas; sister, Carla Robbins and husband Gary; two brothers, Gary Kellam and Brett Kellam, and his wife Debra; mother-in-law; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
A celebration of life is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant Okla.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral Service and Cremation.
