Nell married Ray Tomerlin on February 22, 1972 in Weatherford, Texas. They moved to Bryan County in 1980. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She was a member of Mead Baptist Church and she enjoyed fishing and hunting. Nell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nell was preceded in death by her parents and son, Randy Lynn Floyd in 1998.
Nell is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 47-plus years, Ray Tomerlin of the home; daughter, Angela Floyd Johnson. She was the grandmother of Michelle Greenlee Elliot, Melisa Greenlee, Anthony Floyd, Zachariah Johnson and Joshua Johnson; great-grandmother of 13 and great-great-grandmother of one and numerous extended family and freiends. 
A celebration of Nell’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at Mead Baptist Church. Pastor Kerry Groce will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
