Doris Jean Looney, 56, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on June 8, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 27, 1969, in Garland, Texas to parents Melvin McEgen and Emma (Applegate) McEgen.
Doris attended college in Texas and then continued her education at Murray State College. She was married to Kenneth Looney. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, but most of all she loved spending time with her husband. She enjoyed going and taking her grandchildren out, taking care of her flowers, and she deeply loved her Lord and Savior.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Angle Beth.
Doris is survived by husband, Kenneth Looney of the home; daughter, Krystal Allen and husband Tracy of Bennington, Okla.; daughter, Starla Myers and husband Clint of Coleman, Okla.; grandchildren: Winter Gonzalez, Summer Myers, Rayne Myers, Lydia Allen, and Willie Allen; great-grandchildren: Reid Gonzalez, Shermar Myers, Colsen Gonzalez, Daxton Allen, and Abre Allen; special people that came into her life, Jenn and Steve Craig and Ashley and Arron West; and lots of bonus kids and grandkids.
Family and friends visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday June 14, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel.
