Donna “Jeanie” (Taylor) Sherrod, age 82 of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. Jeanie was born on Oct. 20, 1935 in Bennington, Okla., to Aaron and Johnnie (Miles) Taylor.
Jeanie was a registered nurse for many years. She married Wesley Sherrod in Durant on Oct. 17, 1998. She was an active member at Victory Life Church in Durant.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Wesley Sherrod of Durant; son, Greg Robinson of Pocatello, Idaho; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Sherrod of Pirtle, Okla.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, ten siblings, and daughter, Anita Maxwell.
Family hour will be held 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at Old Church Cemetery in Bennington, Okla.
